Interior tenant finish out of a 15,277 square foot space in an existing office building for three business entities working both independently and together for a single parent enterprise. The three businesses consist of the initial and primary company and two smaller off-shoot companies.
Since its inception, the primary company outgrew its existing space and was in need of an image update. Kissling Architecture (Kissling) worked with the primary company to transform its public presence and accommodate its expanding needs for functional work spaces. Believing that productivity is the cornerstone of any firm, Kissling strove to incorporate stimulating elements including: natural light, art, color, texture, and form. Additionally, common work spaces were located to enable ease of access and encourage efficiency. Materials were selected for performance, durability, and aesthetic compatibility with one another and the business persona.
This was all accomplished while bearing in mind a tightly constrained budget and a restrictive set of building standards. Additionally, Kissling worked through and resolved competing objectives of what would become a longtime relationship, that of a tenant and landlord.
